What is Data Conversion
Data Conversion is a meticulous process aimed at seamlessly integrating third-party or legacy data into UKG Pro CORE utilizing UKG data conversion templates. This procedure is also applied in reverse, involving the extraction of data from UKG Pro CORE as specified in our comprehensive Service Offerings, indicated by the “Extract” directive. While the MCG Tech Team excels at transforming data into the UKG ecosystem, it’s important to note that data conversion from UKG to third-party systems falls outside our purview. Nonetheless, we do furnish standard UKG Exit Files, elaborated upon in the UKG Exit Files Export Definition section.
Flexibility is intrinsic to our approach, and have been open to exceptions for instances where clients furnish templates or specific requirements. In such cases, a tailored SQL extraction might be devised, aligning with the unique demands of each prospect or client. It’s important to highlight that UKG restricts database access for certain modules, notably Recruiting/Onboarding, UTA, and UTM, both for conversion and extraction purposes. This limitation informs our operational boundaries in these specific areas.
